The Deanes were descendents of the Hawtrey family (after whom our award winning restaurant is named), the most influential gentry family and local squires in Ruislip and Eastcote. Named in honour of the former, Deane’s Lodge stands upon the site of an ancient abandoned orchard which is recorded in the Doomsday book.
